BENOIT LAHAYE PRESTIGE BDN

Benoit Lahaye is located in the grand cru village Bouzy, but also has vineyards in nearby Ambonnay and Tauxières. He took over the family estate in 1993, did away with herbicides in 1994, converted to organic viticulture in 2003 and now works biodynamically, plowing each row of his 4.6 hectares with his sturdy work horse. 20-50 year-old vines. 70% barrel-fermented, 30% tank. Partial malolactic fermentation. No racking before bottling in April 2009. Disgorged in October 2010. 5 grams sugar per liter (extra-brut).
