DETAILS

The name Siete Leguas was inspired by legendary Mexican rebel Pancho
Villa who had a horse of the same name. Don Ignacio Gonzalez held Villa in such high esteem that he immortalized the steed when he began producing tequila in the mid-1900s.
The process by which Siete Leguas is almost anachronistic in its simplicity. Mules still drive the traditional stone mills that crush the Weber Agave, which is then cooked in fiery masonry ovens.
The result is an intensely sweet tequila while the Anejo has been aged for two years in white oak barrels.
