AMARO SIBILLA

Natural bitters obtained from an infusion of herbs and roots are prepared over a wood fire and sweetened with the honey produced in the Sibillini Mountains in the Italian Appenines. These ingredients, once blended, are decanted and aged for several months. The resulting aroma is of bitter herbs and dried fruit (chestnuts, walnut husk), followed by scents of coffee and honey. On the palate the first impression is of sweet honey, followed by a strong bitter tannic taste and a long-length finish. Any roughness is corrected by fine aromas of chestnuts, honey, dried fruit, vanilla and coffee.
