OLD FORESTER 100
Old Forester was the first company to bottle bourbon in a bid to assure buyers it had not been tampered with by unscrupulous alcohol dealers. This expression is made from the typical Old Forester mash bill of 72 percent corn, 18 percent rye and 10 percent malted barley. The difference is that less water has been added to make it a stronger whiskey at 100 proof rather than 86. It's a sipping whiskey with lots of complexity and sweetness mingling with spice.
